For the fourth time in the team history Addicted Lunatics Clan have clashed with Blood Bowl Bunnies. So far they have never won, and they still have not. Blood Bowl Bunnies always seem to get the upper hand against the goblins (but then again, so do most teams, with a loss rate of 70 out of 85 games).
The match starts out with the Addict fans outnumbering the Bunny Fans 17k vs 10k. The Addicts have hired a mercenary troll with guard to replace Wumph Headball, who is out with “another” cracked skull, only time will tell if it helps on his condition or makes it worse (although what could be worse that believing you´re a goblin!). And we spot 3 bags of gold next to the team head coach who is slacking in his throne with the teams gold in front of him, while he waves to the ref and pointing to the bags of gold! Addicts wins the coin toss, the ball is kicked right into the hands of Clad Swine-Raider and while the bunny players relocate into a “perfect defence” the Addicts starts out with a badly hurt by Brick Bazooka against the bunny journeygirl. Major Payne swings up the field, but missing the bunn players until he stops next to Luna Tick, which is not the best place to be, but he failed to hit her twice in a row. The rest of the addicts teams follows up to form a cage, which is completed by Clad Swine-Raider who passes the ball to Flatface Neverfall. The bunnies gang up on Keen-eye Hailbomb who is on the cage corner, and he is knocked out by Luna Tick, and Sisse Fisse comes in for a blitz on the ball carrier Flatface Neverfall, and after the knock down, the ball bounces around in the cage and then out of the cage, where it is picked up by Billie Luder who runs downfield towards the Addicts endzone. She stops next to the endzone to let the time run, while the remaining bunny players hold the goblins back.
Recap: Lunatics received the ball but it was stripped from them. The Bunnies ganied control and stalled the rest of the first half before scoring a touchdown as the two teams engaged in a carnage taking out each other's key players.
In the second half a decimated Lunatics team could not stop an even more decimated Bunny team from making it 2-0 very fast.
Again the Bunnies would then strip the ball from the Lunatics and managed to keep the Goblins from regaining control for the rest of the match which cost both teams several key players. One of them, Clad Swine-Raider managed to fail a 2+ dodge, succed via his dodge skill, fail a going for it, succeeding with his Sure Feet, only to fail another going for it, falling, and dying impaled by his pogo.
He will be dearly missed, the teams most experienced goblin ( when we rule out Wumph Headball that is).
The Bunny Mvp goes to the bunny journeygirl who were badly hurt in the first round before she got to move, but Hilary Skank were hired after the match.
