Yes but you need to have a ruler, he just describes the width of the ruler ;)

In the pass chart section the Commissioner HAS in fact described how to determine interception eligibility when using the pass chart.

Esben is correct about the length of the pass but you need the ruler to determine if a pass can be intercepted, so it is important to make it exactly like the one in board game.

Interceptions is the worst that can happen to you... ;)

@ Rolf
In any even match you always win because you have the winning luck. Not the wining look like you had :D

Hi
Had thougt abougt making some boards my self.

The ruler and the scatters are NO problem to make. ( i´m a very kreative person)
First you scan or draw the ruler into word on a PC.
Then you print it out and copy it on to transperent plastic, like the one teachers use on theire overhead projectors. Then you laminate it, to make it stronger :)

As far as I know its possible to buy a boardgame and miniatures by mail order at gamesworkshop, so do that if your not in a Town with some big shop of that kind, like the dragons lair or goblin gate in Århus.

@ Søren Kyndiges
You have a good team and you play it well, but you also had the winning luck in that game ;)

Instead of the pass range ruler you can just use this:

Nope. Maybe they can make some boards themselves. It is mainy the passing template which is difficult to copy, and that can be passed around.

we look forward to getting well experienced´yong coaches from out west, when they go to Aarhus university (or the like) in 5-10 years from now :D

The game cost 600 Kr in Dragons Lair, so that is not too bad.

Of course you should try to get the right figures for say Woodies. But if you have a human team they can easily be used. Thrower = thrower, Cather = catcher and Blitzer = Wardancers.

If you cannot follow the language here it can be because we talk in codes, line my favourite team is DE, and ag 4 is great.
DE = Dark Elves which is a rather calengeing team, but Topper and Rolf is some of the most experienced coaches we have here. Rolf always plays Woodies and Topper used to play DE. Now he plays Goblins, and although this may be for the fun of it, he stil managed to get to the quater final, where he lost to Rolf... (Da Killa Antz - Greyhavien Renegades (Season XXI, ¼-final).

Then Rolfs woodies had to face my Skaven rats, and they lost of course :D So I'm in the final.

When it will be played will be decided when we fiond my opponent next friday. But if everyone can play next Tuesday that will be the day.

We will let you know.

The semi final was just finished an hour ago, and it took a long time as it went into overtime, which is why I'm sitting up at 2:15 on a Wedensday morning :p

The club should buy the game as an activity for the children. Of course you might borrow the board sometimes. :-)

Woodies are the hardest team to start with....
Hmm never saw that one coming, don´t believe that.
Woodies are a good team to learn the game from - you can score, which gives you many nice success experiences as Rolf says, but you will also find out how weak av 7 is.
I learned playing with humans and for some 8 years they were my favourite team - now it´s the DE.
When you realize how to play humans, you know how to play a wide range of teams as many teams favour one or the other side of the Human spectre.
Other good starter teams are Skaven and Undead - both are strong teams that can both score and deliver a good beating.
If you want some coaching I can do it at FUMBBL, if you want just let me know.

Hey Claus
Do as cool people do, play woodies!! Its a hard team to run, but not a hard team to score and winn with (as long as your team is still healthy and you know the right strats) so it does give you some success experienses. Easiest team to start out playing is orcs, that is good in all tournaments and on all team values, but they are a little dull too play and you probably wont learn as much from playing them as other more challenging teams. You are learning the most when you winn some games and loose some games, so if you pick a team were you loose all the time (haflings spring to mind, or ogre) it will give you some negative blood bowl psykology and it might make it hard to winn with any team, those teams are for experiensed coaches or coaches who doesnt give a shit if they winn or loose.

Humans is a pretty cool team, but they struggle in many matchups so you need some experiense to play them. Its true they dont have any obvious weaknesses, but they dont have any obvious strengths either, apart from speed that is hard to really turn into a strong adventage because you dont benefit from ag 4. It can be done though and good coaches can run very succesfull human teams that can choose to bash or score when the right situation arrises.

If you want some tricks with woodelves or have some problems with teambuilding, you can write your question on www.talkbloodbowl.com or here, if you write here I will answer as best I can.

Good luck with it :)
