@ Bülow
If you can make it to Århus tomorrow evening Tuesday 25th... Then you can see the final:
Divine Rats - Cold Blood Magic (Season XXI, Final)
It will be played in our usual place, so just say if it has any interest...
The 3rd place match will be played as well.

Topper =Thorbjørn

High Elf is even more difficult to play to begin, but in the long run they can become very strong. But they desperately needs skill to begin with.

Until you have played against some bashing teams you will never know how hard it can be to keep a Wood elf team alive.

Try a match against a dwarf teams :p

1200.000 is very woodelf friendly really, the apoth is ofcourse mandatory with that many money. Think I would have skipped the catchers & the thrower and get another rr and a treeman (11 players) if that would have been possible, but your lineup is strong for a starter team. Might be a problem with your catchers/thrower & wardancers stealing all the spp's because they do all the work.

For me its not a problem with this turning into a FAQ, its a good thing.

Hi Again

Sorry that i all most turned your guest book into at forum or a FAQ ;)

Thanks for helping me out. I tryéd playing with my Woodies today, but sience my friend who juts made a High elf team, also had a bit of problem whit 1000.000 we agreed to start with 1200.000 just to try it out.

So i player with 7 LM, 1 Thrower, 2 Catchers, 2 WD, 5 FF, 2RR & 1 apothecary "of course" (Rolf L Thanks that saved one of my WD)

We played 2 games, and i won bouth of them :D 3-2 & 2-1

But i can se what you mean, playing 9 linemen in the start !

Question > were do i bye single Blood Bowl figures like Ass Coaches, Reefs, Cheerleaders, Apothecary ect. - i know they are just nice (FUN) to have not Needed :)

Yep, now you see why Wood Elves is so though and why it is not the team to start with.
You have to be prepared to play 10 games before you have both throwers, catchers and treeman.

This is as opposed to almost any non elf team, where you can start a team with at least two of any position if you wish.

Wood Elfs are cool and now you have choosen them, but... ;)

Hehe yeh :)
Another way to go is:
2 RR, 1 Apo, 1 WD, 1 Catcher & 9 linos.
Skill up the linos as much as possible - probably with lots of dodge at first (that keeps them alive) and use the catcher to carry the ball before handing it over to a lino to score.
Give the WD stripball on first skill.
That´s how I´d do it anyway.

The new rules changed that since ff isnt so overly important and can be build up as you go along, but its almost the same though you take 9 linemen and 2 wardancer + 2 rr's, or you take 9 linemen + wardancer and treeman. Reasoning for that is that you can easily skill up catchers and throwers later on, while your team needs good linemen to be effective so you godda start working on them quickly. Your team needs rr's and you dont want to buy them at double price later on, so 2 and the first double skill on a lineman should be leader. Reason for taking wardancers at start is, that you need them to winn the first games, as they are really important in both your offense and your defense. You can take a tree instead of 1 wardancer to save elves on the line in your first games, the treemans job is to take hits for the elves and with a team this expensive you should be carefull not to loose too many players.

First thing you buy is an apothecary ofcourse :)

well, you definitely start with at least 1 re-roll, and you SHOULD have some fan factor as well... Rolf is really the expert on woodies, but I'd say no catchers to start...

I think the normal is something like 10 linemen and a wardancer... And then a re-roll an apoth and some ff... I don't really know the prices, but something along those lines...

Oki.. Thanks :)

Wow... I´ve just calculated my team of Woodies :o
7 linemen, 2 catchers, 2 wardansers & 1 thrower = 1000.000

-What do i do with re-rolle etc. ? :(
