After having endured a bad season The Renegades are looking forward to this match against The HalfDead Clawkillers, and have added a new member of the Team BloodStone Scales (and replacing Alligator Bootsy who have joined the coaching staff) who along with the rest of the team is looking forward to a good fight. (except Slick Snakeeyes and HandBag McGrath who is missing it due to injuries from last match)! To help them win the match, The Renegades have hired their first Cheerleader who with his drumming will inspire the players of the team and the fans!
Once more The Renegades meet The Halfdead Clawkillers in the last part of a Season, and both times The Renegades could see that they would not go on, this time however the top players of The Halfdead Clawkillers Svend D., Bi S.A. and Niels H.J. had decided that their team were sure to win so they started early on the victory party (In the bag Hancicap).
Most of the team showed up for the match, except two players Slick Snakeeyes and HandBag McGrath who due to injuries from the previous match were hospitalized. Another player who might end up hospitalized along with Swamp Whirlpool and Fang Legchewer is Tiamat Twister who once more did not show up for a match (falied niggling), and the coach is starting to get rather mad at him for only showing up at every second match, and once he is on it he will exit at soon as possible. The coach have decided that Tiamat might be unworthy to be fed to the team stegadon, and is considering placing him on the Line of Scrimmage everytime until he learns to show up for all matches, they could really have needed him for this match.
The match had not yet started, and the 20.000 fans of The Renegades and the 27.000 Clawkiller´s fans had just entered the stands when a rock were flung onto the field and hit Swamp Whirlpool severly and he missed all of the match and will miss the next as well.
Then the ball hit the ground, and the players started hitting each other, except for a Saurus who tried to dodge away from an opponent, but fell and were Badly Hurt.
The match had only just begun and The Renegades were allready down 11 to 8. But then The Renegades started knocking out the Halfdeads, and very soon nearing the end of the first half the were a mere total of 13 players on the field, 9 of them still Slann. Part of this were due to a lot of downed players were mysteriously injured after being knocked down, PealClaw Gutter were often seen around these opponents, but somehow the referee never seemed to notice (Bribe the Ref handicap), and such he were never sent out.
Seeing that there were no more opponents to knock down (they were all lying down), The newest skink on the team Hark StompFoot went into the endzone with the ball close to Halftime.
Before halftime and during the time it lasted, all the Clawkillers Knocked Out players woke up and went over to the prematch victory party and convinced the top players to get back into the game, and from there things went bad, the fans still did not like them and stunned a Saurus with another stone from the sidelines.
All Clawed players but one were ready to enter the field, and starting beating up The Renegades, and during the 2nd half they managed to inflict two casualties and in the mean time make two completions and score two touchdowns, one in the final round.
The Renegades do not take this loss that heavy, since they only had a very slim chance to continue to the Quarterfinals, and they still managed to beat up The Clawkillers some of the match, and even though to more injuries than last time, the result were the same as in the prior Slann Renegades - Halfdead Clawkillers(season IX, round 7), where The Renegades could not do anything.
