This cruel little skink is filled with anger and refused to give an interview, instead we talk to the team Coach who could give the reason to why McGrath would not speak to anyone!
"McGrath carries a heavy burden from his past"
The Coach is litteraly speaking about the small handbag which McGrath carries with him everywhere gaining him his nickname, even taking it onto the Blood Bowl Field where it adds an amount of power to his blow by swinging it at opponents, and at times it also helps him in carrying the ball!
"At a point in McGrath´s younger years a group of warriors entered his home in the Slanns holy swamps and kidnapped him and his brother, but eventually he escaped bringing home the handbag which were the only left of his brother, and ever since that he has wanted to travel to find the culprits who killed and skinned his brother, and by learning of the Renegades journy he decided to join us!"
But sadly enough due to his bad memory, every stranger McGrath meets is considered to be one of those he have hunted for so long, and since he cant be sure that it is not them, he might as well kill them all just in case!
Due to McGrath´s constant barfights, brawls, pitfights, the meeting with
Gonzalez Mendoza
in season 9, and just about all other kind of fighting combined with excercises have forced him to cut up his blood bowl armour a bit, in order to make place for his growing neck, torso and arms!
The cutting up and refitting of his armour have caused it to not be as effective as before, but that fact have no effect on McGrath´s plans "it woont be me ttsssat falllsss"!
Sometimes McGrath feels restless, and he have the tendency to miss games when he have decided that none of the opponents are those he searches for, and therefore disseapears to wander the sorrounding countryside and hunt!
In his last match
Sillicon Valley United - Slann Renegades (season XII, round 1), it seems like he found the culprits he had been searching for over the years, he died fighting one of his brother´s killers,
Carmen the collector who had been collecting items in past times and possibly were the one who skinned McGrath´s brother and turned him into the handbag which McGrath have been carrying for all these years.
Oddly enough the handbag itself seemed to have disappered during the match

Vitnessess among the Renegade fans are said to have spotted
Carmen the collector leaving the field with a small bag, but we have been unable to find them ssince the match, so have no clear tracess of it, but we will never sstop looking.
It seems like he should not have cut up his armour, rumour has it that it were the missing parts there were responsible for his death, with it he would have survived the ordeal.
