BL feared that they would face the same destiny against the Scum as was the case for the much more experiences orcs from Army Of Lovers. The rumour had it, that the Lovers did not dare to stand up against the foul warriors!
But to avoid it coming so far BL had hired an extra apotech, a wizard and to kick back the chain saw!
Scum received and quickly made a KO, but the saw retaliated on a Pestigor. Nothing much happened for a few turns, but then Tiny, who had received the ball on a touch back, ran down pitch with some protection. But after a good run for the Orcs he felt unable to keep the ball safe, and decided to pass a long pass to Donald H Gaskins who had blitzed his way to the EZ. But alas for Scums, Muds Maff - rolled a clean 6 - to grap the ball out of the air - Interception!
The ball was run into a cage, and Donald H Gaskins was blitzed into the crowd by Dolf Ryrbye. And then the saw decided to foul Cpt. Spaulding. When he cut his head of, the blood explosion was enough to get the refs attention, but no regeneration skills helps when your head is kicked away from you! And thus the dead warrior was carried of pitch along with the saw!
A few moments later a good run from three orc blitzers where turned into a TD when interceptor Muds Maff passed to Dolf Ryrbye - who in just four turns had run down to his own EZ, to blitz an opponent down, and then all the way to the other EZ for the TD: 0-1.
BL then received in the second half, but tried to hard to score quickly and Muds Maff first failed to catch a pass, and then he fumbled a pass next turn. Thus Ed Gein suddenly had the ball on the Orcs half, and forgetting the wizard and with Noels Trielsen completely failing the blitz (RR to double skull), it was only a matter of time before Ed Gein tied the match 1-1 early in 2nd half. But it was too late for Gary Ridgway who had already been killed by Dolf Ryrbye! Also his regeneration attempt was in vain. From this his first casualty - a kill - Dolf Ryrbye learned mighty blow!
BL received but had a horrible run at it. For the 2nd time this match a rock stunned an orc, this time it was the fast star of the match Dolf Ryrbye who was hit. He was supposed to make a run for the TD. Then the foul Tiny was so disgusting that two BOBs failed to take a hit on him, an while retching instead, they forgot to help the troll, so he also failed to block. At least the two Rotters where blocked away, but that was it. And the blitz by frenzy Korbjørn Thaels ended in him being wrestled to the ground by Donald H Gaskins. At least the ball was safe due to a bad kick (touch back - in spite of the kicker being on pitch).
So next turn it did not look great for BL. But then the wizard took down a warrior, and this opened up for a blitz and then after a dodge by Noels Trielsen, where he used his dodging abilities to get away with the ball, a semi cage of orcs was made down the opposing pitch. With several go-for-its after some good blocking made this possible the two blitzers who were down after turn 1 managed to close the cage and make things difficult for Scums.
Next turn Noels Trielsen got in scoring range, and some great moves made it almost impossible to get a two dice blitz on the strong blodger, and in the effort to achieve this a Pestigor went down the second time he tried to dodge through a BOBs TZ.
That left the path open for a free TD for 1-2 with a RR to spare, and two apotechs for the last turn slaughterhouse, which only resulted in a KO.
Of course Dolf Ryrbye received the MVP for his efforts, whereas Søren Gade only got it, to let the others know how horrible they had played (i.e. this was the kicker who had given BL a touch back resulting in their victory! Nevertheless, the kicker now also can kick other players with his dirty player skills!)
Of course some fans left the Scums, but it was more suprising that none of them decided to root for BL (a roll of triple 1, when just as sum of 6+ was needed).
With this big win BL has fought their way back into race for a play-off spot. But they do need some help in the cross-overs to achieve this!
