A seriously battered DR faced the foulers of Aros: Hellbringers. But with a couple of Journeymen and Hakflem Skuttlespike, DR could field 12 players and with a babe, an extra apotech and a wizard they where not ready to give up without a fight.
And boy did they fight in the first half. A quick SI by Muhammad send Drizzit Hellbringer out MNG and with several KOs DR where soon 10 vs. 7 on pitch. Hellbringers fought back, but Jesus had the ball in a cage out of reach, and could score uncontested with only two turns left for Hellbringers to tie.
With the KOs coming back in including Muhammad Hellbringers had to negotiate 10 rats in two turns. But the rats came blitzing out, taking down the runner Medusa Hellbringer who where the only one left down pitch, and without any chance of stopping the three runners Hellbringers went after Muhammad. And after taking him down they stomped him to death as his niggling kicked in. And the hired apotech was not adept at such a big task, and the great Muhammad is now DEAD!
But that was not really worrying God as he felt Muhammad had been a nuisance and he thus scored for 0-2 without a look back at his former team mate.
With only 10 players for second half it looked tough for DR. And now Hellbringers finally started to kick hard on the rats. But they failed to go for the ball. And some great blocking, and blitzing left a hole for all three runners to get through. And Jesus managed to get to the ball using all 12 squares he could go, grabbed it in two TZ and handed it to God. The latter was then packed up in Darkies, but they choose to blitz Jesus instead. And this was successful as Mefisto Hellbringer took him out MNG.
God could, however, easily dodge out and a cage was formed around the witch elf Pussyclaw Hellbringer. But when Balder B fouled her KO, he was send off leaving the cage semi open, and Hakflem Skuttlespike was standing in a tight spot to get shown off the pitch. This seemed like a good time to use the wizard, and bam the three players standing up against Spike was send to the ground leaving only those two a square away standing. And both a KO and a kill, which was turned by the apotech to a -AV for Mb. Osler, was the result. And the cage was closed.
Next turn Buddha blitzed a hole in the elf defence and a type of cage around God was formed down the other side of Hellbringers lines. But when Mefisto Hellbringer, him again, blitzed Hakflem Skuttlespike he got SI. This left God exposed and he was almost completely surrounded by opposing players. But Thor B managed to push a player two dice against, and then God dodged out through a TZ and ran for the EZ. But he could not run away from the mean Mefisto Hellbringer who thus took out all three runners with only a BH this time!
This left the ball free, but with lots of mistakes it was only in the very last minute that Hellbringers managed to score for 1-2 by Helicobacter Pylori. But before this Akut Bronkitis had SI a journeyman and another foul had send Buddha out BH as well. Thus no rats where on pitch to see this last TD!
Three linerats came back for the last turn, but a both down RR both down ended the game for Thor B but he received the MVP for this effort and learned Wrestle.
Hellbringers finally kept there pre season promise and had two players send off for fouling and only scored when there was no one left to foul!
