Who this player were, noone could remember anymore, and he were never noted as part of the team.. even though he were with it from the beginning...but since he died twice in Round Two of Season VIII along side
"Steg" ToeSmasher
, and due to a little mixup with his replacement,
"Mouse Trap" Traitor
who replaced John Dow after the match and even recieved his number which led to the little mistake.
So they dug him up to see if he were actually still there and then they had to bury him again.
(much to the teammates complaints who wanted to use him for decorations either in the locker room or as a pitch banner)
The coach decided to finally give him a name since his real name had been long forgotten, and wrote
“Indefatigable” John Dow on the headstone.
It means something that could be translated to
“The Neversleeping Unknown” and added underneath a few words as a welcome and goodbye at the same time.
“Sorry we forgot about you, but now we
will always remember you whoever you were”.
