Before tomorrows match between (gre2) and (khe)
 Rosie Clayburgh had the following comment:
"I am really looking forward to this match, we met them at the right time, before they are too strong - and I have decided to bring along a little, hmmmm helping device.
I wont spoil the surprice too much, but it includes a lighter and some dry bones´n´cloth......
So Imhotep III and Seti watch out this might be your last game. |

Greenside Gladiators tramples past Hellbringers.
After yesterdays match Rosie Clayburgh scored the only try in the game, thus winning the game for Gladiators.
Claire Vinatieri had the following comment after the game.
"Hellbringers had proclaimed they would kick, foul and play dirty, so we knew what to expect for this match. As it turned out they also "fixed" it so that the ref was out for the first half, luckily we were prepared for this trick, and we hit them hard and brutal.
While this is not our usual tactic, we had no choise.
And let me warn later opponents - we fear none, and will do whatever it takes to win." |

After Hellbringers potentless threat Kaylee Blythe and the other girls only had laughter left for their announ-
cement.
"we´ll if all they can is to kick on those who´s lying down.
We wont fear them at all. I have no respect for these lowlives - who think they are above the rest of us.
Well definitely be ready for their foul play, the question is - will they be ready for us." |

Gladiators first win.
After yesterdays match between Greenside Gladiators and Delicatesssss Gladiators pulled off a 2-1 victory.
It was a hard earned victory, secured in the dying moments of the match after great play from the team in the last few minutes.
We managed to get comments from team captain and TD scorer Kaylee Blythe.
"How would you describe your game today"
" We got a decerved win, we played a perfect first half, and especially as long as Claire Vinatieri was on field she completely dominated the pitch with her ability to allways lend assists.
I think she outshone everyone in the first half, until a injury sent her off.
And in the end we managed to play good ballplay.
That´s the first time that has happened, so I am very pleased"
We will strive to get interviews from other players on the team in the near future. |

"Damn - today we lost to ourselves"
A clearly irritated Claire Vinatieri commented on todays game.
"This is simply not acceptable, we weren´t ready for the season opener at all. Many of our players were nervous, and played well below their skill."
"Well Claire you played fantastically - 3 cas. and you were also the one behind the foul kill. How do you feel about your own debut ?"
"Ptt, I dont care much, I would gladly have played bad if we had won instead. But I hope that we will sharpen up for the next match." |

From the latest issue of Woman.
"Power women in a mans world"
Before the first match we caught up with team captain Kaylee Blythe, Thrower Juanita Chavez and catcher Emmely Mcbridefor a talk about expectations and the thin line between succes and fiasco.
"So how is the spirit on the team now. Right before your first season as pro´s."
Kaylee: "Great obviously. We have worked hard to get here, and finally we are. We can´t wait to show what we can do"
"What do you expect from your first season?"
(The girls looks at eachother, and start explaining.)
Mcbride:"Hard to say, I believe that we must end in the top half of our group"
(The others nod - and Kaylee further explains)
"We hope that we can get to the play-offs. But it will be very hard to get there."
"So which teams do you fear the most?"
Kaylee "None, I wont start to speculate before season start"
Juanita" I think that Awnie Auld Chaps will be the hardest opponent to get across, and hope they won´t meet us.
But other than that it´s hard to say. There´s alot of great teams outthere. Some we know, others we will get to know."
