For the third straight season Deadly Doom has been the nemesis of Sindarian Lords, and two times in a row now, it has been their season opening match.
But this time the fans had a great impact on the game as they first threw a rock, and later invaded the pitch to revenge a dirty foul.
Also The Lords sole niggling player Strip Ball wardancer Haldir was unavailable for the match. So the elves were really not lucky.
It began promissing for the elves when they recived the ball and quickly were two players ahead after a KO and the foul by Elmo of Doriath that smashed a hand and gave a niggling injury to top Ghoul The Green Ghost.
But mummy Ra BH Treeman Quickbeam, and he also made another BH in each of the two following drives first on Andir of Lorien and then on wardancer Legolas Greenleaf. From this his ST increased to 6!
However, nothing DD did could prevent Oropher of Grennwood from scoring to 1-0 in turn 5 (learning a new skill), and DD had a very difficult time trying to tie the game in their last 4 turns of first half.
But in the end Eata Corpus dodged away from tackling wardancer Legolas Greenleaf into 2 TZ using the briliant coaching RR to get there (4+) and then a one dice blitz gave an arrow and then the TD was his after a 2+ dodge. Hence the game was tied 1-1.
10 elves lined up to kick it to DD in second half, but the nice DD TD and the foul play by the elfs, had excited the undead fans, and they invaded the pitch in search of the fouler, KOing 2 and stunning 3 before they finaly found Elmo of Doriath and broke his jaw as revenge. He will MNG.
As the kick-off flew of the pitch mummy Ramses the 5th was handed the ball, and over the next 6 turns he stralled down pitch with it, untill standing next to the EZ, and at this time there were only 3 elves left on pitch.
In the last turn the unheard happened as a mummy scored the winning TD for 2-1. And thus gave Ramses the 5th the ability to Break a Tackle.
The fans liked the game alot (they also had quite a large part in it as well) and both teams FF increased. But there weren't alot of money, only 20 vs 30 kgps.
In the end The Lords again only had 3 players on pitch, just like in the two previous encounters (1 and 4), and then it is difficult to fight the mummies. But once again the Lord did not suffer any permanent damage, this time that was, however, not the case for DD :/
