Dedly Doom took home a safe victory while the mummies again bashed elves of the pitch. This time for good, in a ultra violent match.
The weather was fine, but with no freee beer a few thousands less showed up, just 1000 to few for making a very nice earning:( And it was not so uneven between elves (14) and undead fans (26).
Anyway these fans went beserk already from the first kick-off by Die Haubtabteilung and killed the dwarf ref, who was replaced by a very scared human ref, who did not dare look in the way of Deadly Dooms players for the entire first half. Hence the DD players fouled more than every second turn. However, only one KO and a few stunned came from this.
Actually the first half was quite uneventfull, except that Nemesis Nackenzopf made a BH in the first turn on Argos. However, when a wight decided not to pick up the ball, Rigor Mortis used his sure hands to pick it up in turn two, and kept it safe until the end of first half where he then made a TD to 1-0.
In the half time, Argos regenerated and was ready for next half, whereas only 2 of the 3 KOed on Die Haubtabteilung was ready. Sadly it was the block player Gilbert Gassenbube that stayed out. It was hence 10 vs 11 when Die Haubtabteilung recived the ball facing a perfect defence from Deadly Doom.
In second half the gloves came of and it became a very rough ride for Die Haubtabteilung over the next 6 turns, where in 2nd. turn Ramses the 5th killed Benno Brausekopf who was immediatly rasied as zombie Benno Brausekopf II by Necromancer Kynde. Then Cheops the Great killed Krieger Kotzköttel (player 1000 in Aros). With these players missing and a few KOs more, it was then easy for Rigor Mortis to make his second TD for the game as he had picked the ball up again, when a failed catch after a nice throw by Zac Zornig ended up close to him.
In the last two turns Die Haubtabteilung tried to take revenge on Benno Brausekopf II who was brave enough to take the field against his own team mates, much to their consternation. After a touch back due to a very poor kick-off they also had a chance to score a TD. But first after the skeleton Argos was BH again this time by Hades Hellboy, and in the same turn Herbert Haubenstock killed the mummy Cheops the Great. For these event DD took a harsh revenge as Bram Stoker in the last turn killed BHer Hades Hellboy, and Eata Corpus almost made a last turn TD, but he failed the easy pickup, not having sure hands as his team mate.
So the match ended 2-0.
And after this both the mummy Cheops the Great and the skeleton Argos regenerated (again) to much rejoicing for necromancer Kynde, escpecialy since the mummy is now a veteran player.
Argos was elected MVP for regenerating twice and showing persistence by getting back on the field to take yet another beating! Since he was already ready, he was celebrated along with the killer mummies and wight and the TD scoring ghoul at the bar.
DD earned 80 kgps vs 40 for DH. Due to the lack of free beer DDs FF went down, as did also DHs, although this was more understandable in view of the match result.
