The first half started with a riot. When the smoke cleared, the Darkies opted to receive the ball, and the teams exchanged touchdowns.
2-1 down in the last turn of the half, the Bunnies pulled off a 1-turn touchdown by way of 3 subsequent pushes to make the equalizer.
2-2 at the beginning of the second half the Bunnies received the ball and pushed downfield but were stopped just inches before the endzone. The Astronauts then drove down the field eagerly pursued by the Bunnies, but they managed to hold on and make it 3-2 as time expired.
