This afternoon’s match on Warpstone Cowboys home grounds was dominated by some very clumsy ghouls and staggering stupid big guys. As the Dead Diggers prepared to enter the field the rain came hammering down, but it didn´t many minutes after WC pet-elf fluffyfeet picked up the ball before the rain stopped. WC coach then sent lone-skaven player Four-eyes into enemy territory, as did the diggers with ghoul C.J. Thomsen. Only difference was that four-eyes soon hereafter was KO, and the ghoul was closing in on the renegade elf. In the following sequences of play things started to go downhill for the diggers although it did start of well with the big guys being stupid. But this was all in vain as first star zombie E.Kiss, was BH, followed by M.Gimbutas death by dodging (or rather lack here of). While this carnage was going on the ball was passed on to the goblin and hand-offed back in the following turn. The elf then passed it on to Baltimore who ran for cover (pussy) in the furthest corner of the DD´s side of the field. Although DD tried to get to the marauder they were unsuccessful and in the last turn a TD was scored. Second half started well for the DD with a TD in turn 3 by P.V.Glob, despite a fireball being thrown at him. What then followed was a mad scramble for the ball. Once again flyffyfeet started with carrying up the ball towards the DD endzone. He was soon set under pressure by P.V.Glob and the elf saw no other option but to pass the ball to the green skin pygmy THachO who ran for cover under the supposedly safety of the Ogre and Troll in the middle of the field were more than half of the players were gathered by now. But this was to be a mistake as both big guys turned on their “shit for brains mode” which left the gobbo open for a mummyblitz. After a lot pushing around the goblin finally succumbed and the ball was picked up by C.J.Thomsen who tried to pass it to P.V.Glob which would have led to a quick TD. But this was not to be and instead the ball scattered out off the sideline and thrown back next to a gathering of marauders who picked up the ball and started running down field. But not fast enough for C.J.Thomsen and N.F.B. Sehested who together stormed the ballcarrying marauder and once again the ball landed off-field. It was thrown back in and landed near the WC- endzone where Peter Paulsen and flyffyfeet fought over the ball, with the latter as the winner. The elf then tried to throw the ball down field in the hopes of a last desperate TD, but was unsuccesfull.
