The Dwarves received and caged the ball. The Bunnies relied on containing the slow-moving cage rather than putting pressure on the ball-carrier hoping that one lucky sting attack would bring the ball loose. Sisse Fisse made one such attack with tremendous success. The ball was loose, but the Bunnies were unable to put enough pressure on it, and the Dwarves easily recovered it. However the Dwarf cage was disrupted allowing the Bunnies a one-dice blitz on the ball-carrier in the next turn. This time the ball bounced far and wide eventually landing at the feet of Metha Fohr who picked it up and ran for the endzone. 1-0 for the Bunnies.
The remainder of the first half the Bunnies spent in disciplined containment of the Dwarf offence holding them off despite the fact that a riot prolonged the first half by one turn.
In the beginning of the second half the Bunnies received the ball and tried to drive down the sideline. The Dwarves' stand firm defence made that approach impossible however. With the Bunny receivers caught in the firm grip of the Dwarf defence, the remainder of the decimated offence tried to contain the ball behind an offensive line pocket. During the next turn that pocket was seriously decimated, and the receivers were still shut down, except for Alma Nak who was standing, but covered. With everything hingeing on Queen Bruise's ability to make the big play, she stepped up and showed the quality. An accurate long bomb was caught by the otherwise covered Alma Nak, who dodged for the endzone. 2-0.
With 6 players left on the field the Bunnies were then able to stall the Dwarves enough for them to realize, that they would never make the equalizer. In the end they settled for a last turn touchdown to make 2-1 the final score.
