It had been agreed that the fianl game of season XXII would be played at neutral ground so that neither team could benefit from homefield advantage. The Elves, ever fearful of the mighty Dwarves, hid in their woods and only by the grace of Divine Rats´s Headcoach were the Disciples of Zhatan able to navigate to the infamous Skjoldhøj home of Rolf, King of Skjoldhøj.
Being on home ground the Elves easily outnumbered the Disciples Fans on the stands and started the game by knocking out Lhurgoyff with a rock (He probably should have worn pants at the game).
Greyhavien Renegades started with a furios zeal killing Rasha Karthas almost before the ball hit the ground. The Dwarves apothecary easily fixed this minor problem. The Disciples retaliated moments later by taking one of the Wood Elves catchers out.
The drive went on and Greyhavien Renegades made a solid wedge down their own left flank although some of their players seemed a bit unsteady on their feet and the Dwarves could do nothing to stp the TD except making sure the Elves paid dearly for it, taking 1 Elf out pr. turn.
Zhatan's Disciples continued their manhandling of the Elves but their star player, Khakhistos, got to busy grinning as Mega Belastende! sprinted in order to pin him down near the Disciples own EZ. Bold and deftly moves involving several succesful blocks, dodges and sprints made it possible for Khakhistos to make move an amazing 27 squares in just 3 turns, tying the game before the second half.
Due to the succesful grinding during the first half, sending out 7 players in 8 turns, Greyhavien Renegades were only able to field 9 players. 9 were too many of course and Journeyman Killer were promptly killed as the entire Dwarf line advance as soon as the ball was snapped.
The grinding continued and Khakhistos took the ball and advanced at a lazy pace. The Elves went flying of the field and even the Wardancers went down hard. The only excitement and breathtaking moment was when Jean-Claude Forfanden d.2. almost took down Khakhistos as he forgot just how annoying Elves can be and when the Hobgoblins of the Disciples were thrown out by an otherwise excellent ref.
The drive went on and the winning TD was never in any real danger as the Elves rarely were more than 1 or 2 standing. Khakhistos did what he does best and won the game.
All Hail Lord Zhatan
The Head Coach of Greyhavien Renegades is free to dispute any of the facts mentioned above, of course, and in all fairnes Zhatan's Disciples did what they haven't been able to do all season and maim the opponent, while Greyhavien Renegades fumbled a lot and never really got a hold of their own feet.
