Death Extravagante received the ball and caged their ball-carrying Runner. When the runner was blitzed, they tried their usual dump-off tactics, but unfortunately this tactic has always had a tendency to fail against the Bunnies. The ball was not caught by the intended target, and the Bunnies were now in possession. The attempts to corner Maja Tærsker were futile, and the Bunnies went ahead 1-0.
The Dark Elves then had a good stalling drive, but in the end they became too greedy and went for more star player points rather than protecting the ball for a touchdown. The Bunnies seized the opportunity and got hold of the ball preventing a touchdown.
In the second half the Bunnies received the ball. Fortune did not smile upon their scoring drive, and the Dark Elves captured the ball. A quick equalizer was the result.
In the following drive, a blitz secured Death Extravagante possession of the ball. It remained in their hands until they scored a touchdown and took the lead.
By now the Bunnies were bleeding profusely with 5 players in the injury box - 3 of them dead. They were cornered on the sideline, but in the end, a strong solo effort by Ann Tenna Kabell secured a draw.
