Well the first season is at an end, at least for the Eagles, and head coach Sculeikos must admit that the results have not been as expected. "It seems elves aren't much better than other players, and next season we will try to field 11 players at all times. During this season we've often had to play with less than 11, and I had thought that the elves superior skills would make up for it. Now we see that elves actually can't do much on their own except for a few exceptional players like Celeborn Elyan and of course our own Correll Buckhalter. Unfortunately the opposition have realized this as well so Correll have often been, eh, damaged during the campaign." To review the season we can see that out of the 6 games of the regular season Eagles only won against the Backstabbers, and managed a draw against Døtrene. A Fairly even game against the Vikings should have ended in a draw and perhaps we deserved a better result against Mayhem as well, but no excuse can be made for the two thrashing we received by the Snails and the Gryphons. All in all it has been a pityful season, and we hope that the league will be infused with some new teams next seasons, in which case we might have a chance of winning a few more. On a final note and in the spirit of good sportsmanship head coach Sculeikos wishes the best of luck for his fellow group D teams who made the cut, Snails, Mayhem and Gryphons. |

It's the day after their first match and the Eagles must face the fact that their training has been insuficient. Head Coach Sculeikos announced to the press: "We got the part about hitting the other team, but my players seems to have forgotten all I taught them about the ball. This week we will sit down in a circle and throw the football around, then we'll see what happens". Asked about the injury situation on the team Sculeikos replied "Well it's true that we sustained some casualties and our next match will be tough, but we mustn't forget that Elves are tougher, faster and stronger than other people, so it shouldn't be a problem, besides I've talked to the local chemist and he might be willing to show up to our next game for a small fee, and if he performs well we might even hire him full time, if our economy allows it." |

Finally the residents of Grøfthøj have realised that they are no good at soccer or American football, so with players from both SC Viby and Viby Ponies they have now formed a Blood Bowl team. Their devout fans hope and expect imidiate success for the new club, and manager Señor Sculeikos has announced that the goal for the first season is to win a trophy... any trophy, and as he understands it there only is a single trophy to win. |
