This team is comprised of the survivors from the recent Northern Blood Bowl Championships. Unfortunately only the rookies were left alive after the matches were over, and most of them died during the afterparty, which left only these fine players :)

Late bloomers
The North Winds achieved a late success in season 27, when they won the match North Wind - Wildwood Lions(Season XXVII, round 5). The match were the Norsemens best match so far both in terms of touchdowns and injuries, and market a break in a season plagued by injuries and near misses.

North Wind Secures First Win
Today was a glorious day for the Vikings. In their 4. match (North Wind - Addicted Lunatics Clan(Season XXVI, round 4)) they finally managed a victory. Hrothwulf Hellraiser was the first to score, and thus became the first player on his team ever to score a TD! Later Hrotghar Handaxe secured the victory when he ran in a second TD.
In the following celebrations of the match the two hired journeymen showed their inexperience when they drank themselves to death, and thus sadly they could not become a permanent part of the team.
