Profile
The story of George MacWashington started in the early 1750’ies when he was institutionalised in an special asylum due to a strange psycho-somatic illness which effectively gave him an overactive bladder syndrome. The asylum was the finest of its kind in those days for people with similar problems, but still discontent was sowed. A fine summer morning in 1776, MacWashington and a few fellow inmates decided to break out. They made it to the outer walls of the asylum courtyard, where they decided to declare their independence and an all-out war on the oppressive psychiatric system. The escapees (known as minutemen for their short, fast trips to the toilet) quickly formed ranks into what would later be known as the Incontinental Army. A declaration of independence was quickly drafted and signed by the ring leaders MacWashington, Incontinentia MacButtocks, Sepp MacBladder and MacWashington’s staff officer Peeing Tom. Since it was Sepp’s birthday, and he was originally from the Swiss Canton of Uri, the conspirators named their new country the Uri Nation (later just the U.N.) in his honour. In a few hours, the asylum staff had subdued the conspirators with hypodermic syringes, and by the end of the day, they were all back in their beds in their straitjackets and with their bedpans by their side, and the community of Midlothian settled down again. But the legacy of MacWahington’s short-lived military career still continues be the source of amazement for everyone with urological disorders.
