Bernard Law MacMontgomery - among friends known as BLM - is famous for almost inventing the BLT sandwich with only one initial barring his way to a place in the history books.
His
great-great-great-grandfather almost no one has heard of, however, although he did at one point receive a knighthood named after some godforsaken sandy dune somewhere in Northern Africa. Known as the "General who never made a mistake" it has turned out that this in fact was a spin by his staff as the origins of the sentence was "The General who never got anything right." Officially due to unspecified causes he died.
