Born in Jericho, Esther Rakhel worked for many years as a puppet master in a popular puppet theatre. During a tour to Scandinavia she encountered an indigenous Danish version of puppet theatre called “Mester Jakel”. Due to the phonetic similarity between this word and her own name, she became obsessed with the idea of pulling off a coup within the Mester Jakel community and forming her own Zionist wing of the theatrical scene for promoting the views of the
Likud Party. Whether she has succeeded is still unknown, as the great majority of Mester Jakel spectators are Danish children quite unaware of hidden innuendoes concerning domestic Israeli politics. In the PlayBall Troupe of Actors® she forms companionship with just as confused actor Finn Uhrlig.
She entered the team before the 3rd round match of season 16 and was retired before the 1st round match of season 17. She was one of the "Champion 7" who won the championship in season 16. She played a total of 8 matches for the team.
