Being the only Hobgoblin who was on the original lineup Maitos is by far the eldest among the Hobgoblins.This means that he is also the meanest and grumpiest of them all. He also alpha Hobgoblin and believs that might makes right, which he often proves on the other Hobgoblins as it has been done to him for several years.
Being made part of the team has actually been the best thung that ever happend to Maitos as he now gets to boss around with all the other younger and inferior Hobgoblins.
But age is beginning to take its toll and he knows that other more lasting Hobgoblins are breathing down his neck only awaiting that sole moment where he shows a weakness and he will then be eliminated. So far has his enormous strenght made up for his aching body, but for how long...
