Yes, e-mail Casper.
As I wrote it is the commish of our league that can offer the service. And Casper is The Commish ;-)

You can check out an example of those kind of leagues I was mentioning, as I have used this platform for a league the last two yeasrs, so we can play during the off-seasons of Aros:

Kynde, could you write me a mail? I'd love to hear what you can offer. I love this site, and it would make it alot easier for our members to record matches deffinatly.

I'll await your mail.

Great to hear of other leagues around Denmark.
The DM in BB will be held in Århus at the end of may (Pinsen). Maybe some of you from NFL would be interested to join. Usually also a contingent from Copenhagen will join in the DM.

If you are interested the commish of this league has made it possible for other leagues to use the same platform for their tournaments as we do here in Aros. (It is not for free of course...) That is you get the same features as you can find here.

This site has so many automatic features that anyone who has once tried to run a league by updating everything automatically will love to use this feature.

The team rosters, match results and the score board is all updated automatic as well as a lot of statistics. (You enter the match results on line for instance.)

I found you home page, and it seems there will be a lot of manual work keeping the score and rosters up to date.

So think about it, if you reach 18 you will need a better system. We have run this league with up to 32 teams!

Well, I think the players of your league has to be very motivated to play that many games (17 * 2 games) during a season, and I would suggest you make a league structure with less games, and games in groups like we have in Aros. Half or so of each group can then advance to the playoffs.

The problem with many games pr season is, that some coaches will play all the games they are supposed to play, but others will be hard to reach or slowly loose motivation as the season progresses and they see their chance of making it to the play-offs going down hard. Then the rest of the league has to wait for these coaches to finish their games and you will never have your playoffs.

I would suggest you make 2 or 3 groups when you are 18 teams, and then set it so 8 coaches will advance to the quaterfinals, 2 best of each group + the 2 best third places. 8 is not very much, but its either 8 or 16 teams and 16 out of 18 is a little too much.

Remember to make a top td scorer and top cas price etc. so there are many different things to play for. You could also make a bounty system were the loosers of each group gets a monetary sum to place on players who annoyied them during the season, that gives coaches with teams that a doing bad a little motivation to keep playing.

Thank you for a nice site! It's given me the inspiration to start my own league at our gaming club here in Holstebro. NFL - New Fenris League 09 is underway.

We got 10 teams listed, where 7 of them are totally new gamers, and they are loving it.

I would love some tips on running a league with as many teams as 18, how do you guys do it?

Thus far we are playing 2 games vs eachother, and top 4 goes on to the semi finals, then finals. Mostly this is for all the new guys to get aquainted with the game and learn some tactics by playing as many games as possible.

Thanks again for a nice site! Keep it up!

Nothing like a bunch of naked guys (?) and a lot of Zambooka to entice one to join in, oh the images.

I will be joining shortly (when Casper approves me) and playing the mighty Norse to victory.

So Uffe are you going to join the season, or did they scare you away at the x-mas lunch? And if, what team do you plan to play. Hope to see you back in Aros.
