In the beginning of the match every worked out for Skavens, and almost nohitng for the Gobos. After the first turn, 2 gobos were in the dead&injured box, and the Skavens were well on their way to an early TD. But in the decisive move into end zone failed, as the pitch was covered with slipery ice and snow due to the blizzard, that engolfed the entire match. The tried to get hold of the ball, but it never really left their end zone much, and eventually the Skavens managed to take it back a run it the few yards left. The gobos then received the ball on the following kickoff, and stated making their way down the field. Then things started to go wrong for the Skavens. Each time they had a seamingly good possibility to knock down the ball carrier, either doges or go-for-its failed, and the rats knocked themselves over and began to fill their own dead&injured box. The gobos scores the equalizer in the last seconds of the first half.
In the second half Bricksskull took over the job of sending skavens off the field, and as the gobos scored another TD, things were surely beginning to look... ehm... challenging for the rats. They did have a great possibility to score for a 2-2 result, had it not been for the Gobo Shaman, that sent the ball carrier to his grave with a well-aimed lightning bolt. Instead the gobos grabbed the ball, and scored once more. |
