In a even and exciting match Death Extravagante drew the longest straw against Woodwatchers. both teams missed three men due to niggling injuries, bur Death Extravagante hired star Horkon Heartripper. The first half was a close affair, between two not too tactically minded teams with lots of TDŽs, beautiful plays and fair play. Once however Yaviere Elfbane was heavily pressured by two blitzing Woodwatchers players but made the dump-off to a free player. The match might very easily have been very different if that had failed. Instead it ended 2-2 at halftime, and Extravagante decided to play tactically delaying the entire second half before scoring, taking out as many opponents as possible. Thus Woodwatchers only had 7 seven players left for their one turn attempt, and with Loudmouth Glassjaw BH, it seemed difficult as Extravagante decided to defend deep. However Woodwatchers still went for it, but was hit by true unfortune as a stone was thrown and killed Aranel Arrowpacker. Thus leaving the one-turn TD impossible.
