Deadly Dooms Undead train simply ripped last seasons champions - the infamous Halfdead Clawkillers - appart during a, for the Killers terrible, first half where they got a taste of their own medicine, as 5 cas crippled the proud team. Second half was not much better and the Killers never even tried to pick up the ball once during the entire game, while DD was first to the ball on 3 of four kick-offs and scored on each of those for the stunning (and to some suprising) 3-0 victory.
The Killers only made 2 casualty in the enitre game (and both first came in the games last drive late in second half) vs 6 casualties (one healed by apotech) 9 KO and a push out inflicted upon them by the potent DD.
DD was helped both by fans with a pitch invasion and a killed ref as well as by bad habits. The Killers had fallen into the bad habit of not taking any RR for the entire game.
Also DD was greatly helped again by the strong precence of the Vampire Lord Count Luthor von Drakenbourgh, who at some point held the ball in all 3 main drives, although he this time eventually handed it off for the scoring Ghouls. Even Ramses the 5th had been practicing to be a better guard for this important game.
Finally the hirering of Shrappa Sorehead and his pogo stick was of little use for the Killers.
Just as the game started a horde of DD fans went beserk and stunned the Killers entire second line of defence. It was “only” stunned but it was four St 4 players.
Ramses the 5th then had to make a go for it to blitz clawed Michael J.S. but it resultet in a KO. Then Killers really felt the need for RR as their first block resulted in a double skull, and an almost emidiate turn over.
This gave DD the chance to take a pivotal turn as both mummies made a casuatly as first Ra SI Otte B. and then Ramses the 5th SI Peter L.G. but this time the apotech saved him. Two more KOs came in the same turn, one caused by Argos who fouled infamous Bi S.A. KO leaving no clawed beastmen on pitch
Finally Count Luthor caught the pass from The Green Ghost. And then DD just continued to reduced the number of killers on pitch, one by one over 5 of the next 6 turns.
Count Luthor pushed out clawed warrior Benny K. (only stunned though), and later he BH Peter L.G., who thus went out this time! This was after Ra made his second casualty by SI Clawed warrior Uffe S.A.. Add another KO and a 5th casualty by Benno Brausekopf II who SI another clawed warrior Bo L., and this leaves only 2 non clawed Killers on pitch as The Green Ghost scored for 1-0.
In the Killers last turn they managed to make a completion but only due to a touch back. They never tried to pick up the ball from the ground once during the entire game.
In second half, three KOed Killers came back, leaving them with 9 on pitch vs a full DD team.
Nothing seemed to work for the Killers, who in the two next kick-offs by DD, failed to go after the ball, before first failing a dodge after a blitz, and at the next kick-off going down on a skull/both down. No RR sucks!
In both cases the team of Count Luthor, and almost forgotten Ghoul Snufitt Wice exchanged completions, leaving first Snufitt Wice with the ball to score for 2-0 in only 3 turns, and then later leaving Count Luthor with the ball, although this time rather ungarded on Killers pitch.
Before this last kick-off the fans of DD got the ref. (5th time this season). The Killers tried to foul too, but failed to even break AV three times! DD’s four fouls gave 3 KO and a stun. Once more Bi S.A. ws fouled KO, but this time by DD’s new dirty player Conan. But at least the ref did not notice anything at all.
As this last drive continued Count Luthor was, however, downed with the ball, and finally the Killers got a little back when Medløber Mads BH Zombie Benno Brausekopf II (learning tackle to his shadowing). But a blitz later Count Luthor was able to get up and run of with the ball. And the zombies got immediate vengance when former Chaos beastman zombie Geleb Reanimated BH Apophis. On top of this two Killers where KOed in failed dodges.
At this point Count Luthor had handed the ball over to Snufitt Wice even though DD’s last RR had been used on a double skull by Ramses the 5th. But it seemed safe enough as the way was pretty closed to the two standing 2 -3 steps from the end zone.
But then some truly amazing moves was seen from the Killers It was first St 4 Svin Blood who multiple blocked both DD’s wight (one dice) stunning the first, and then SI Bram Stoker smashing his ankle. This opened up the way for a blitz by John M.S. on the ball carrier, but he had to dodge in a TZ and make two go for it. Without RR he did so, but then failed to get the blodger down. Snufitt Wice blitzed himself free and ran towards the other side of the pitch to delay the TD for the final turn.
But he had not counted on the many dodges in TZ and go for it the Killers managed (without RR), in order to get two players to him, the last blitzing him down. The ball, however, jumped free, and Snufitt Wice got up and (without RR and tackle on him) he dodged and picked up the ball to score a final TD for 3-0, and really make this his game.
The perfect game was, though a little stained for DD, as the injured wight Bram Stoker failed to regenerate. After playeing 17 matches in a row for DD (he was hired right after their first game), he will miss the semifinales and will probably never regain his former speed? But he looks forward to beeing ready for the final.
To no supprise Count Luthor was elected MVP on DD. Very deserved, although the game also belonged to Snufitt Wice for doubeling his TD score and to Ra who doubled his cas count.
DD made 80k and can hire Count Luthor in the semifinals, and may hope for him joining in the final! The Killers made 40k.
Of course Killers lost fans on such a performance, but strangely DD did not gain any, after making the most cas ever, and tieing their own TD record with a 3-0 victory for the third time this season. What more do they want? Bram Stoker maybe? Could have been some of his fans lost interest as new came instead.
Although DD had the fans help them both with pitch invasion and by killing the ref, then all casualties made in the game was as a result of blocks. Only stuned and KOed results came from any other random event. It can hence not be given over entirely to these events.
But nevertheless, there is only one explanation for this extreme result, and that was the stunning turn 2, where DD moved 3 players and an apotech from the pitch, and then never looked back.
