Sure victory for the Nutz after they cleaned DD of the field early in first half!
The weather was fine and the gate was shared equally (32/33) between the two teams fans.
Due to the expactaions for the favorite team DD, Nutz' remaining bull centauer Thunderhoof had worked hard on his swing, which became as power full as that of a mummy for this important game. This came in handy when he removed DD's top ghoul Rigor Mortis, who won't even play next match.
DD kicked-off and emediatly Nutz began clearing players of the field. Already in first turn did Eargoz Ztoneanvil inflict a concusion on Yurgi and later in same turn a one dice blitz from Hark Ironfist resulted in a smashed hand for Cheops the Great. This was only possible due to the new habbit of Hark Ironfist of throwing himself onto his victim, but the ref did not say anything.
To revenge his team mate Brill kicked Hark Ironfist but the only effect of this was that he was thrown out by the ref.
In turn 2 the troll Morguz Bonehead smacked Zed the zombie of the pitch for the rest of the match, and he was followed by a KO on Benno Brausekopf II in next turn also caused by the troll.
In the fourth turn the bull Thunderhoof used his hard hits as described above on the poor ghoul Rigor Mortis resulting in a broken rib. And in the fifth turn, before most wanted Smooth Shadow made the first TD to 1-0, also the other ghoul Eata Corpus was thrown off pitch when KOed by the bull.
Only 4 players from DD was still on the pitch at this time. At least they could hope for 3 to regenerate and 2 KOed to wake up. But no! Five times 2 and 1, when 4 was needed. So 7 vs 11 in the remaining turn, and eventhough it was a skeleton from DD that was thrown off the dwarf fans got the ref between the TD and kick-off. (This did, however not result in any more hurt DD players, although fouling was tried a couple of times.)
For second half the KOed ghoul awoke, so it was 8 DD vs 11 Nutz as DD recived the ball, while the weather changed to swealtering heat.
When in turn 2 Sneaky Sneak fouled the second mummy Ramses the 5th KOed and the bull in next turn KOed the awoken ghoul Eata Corpus again! it was 6 vs 10 (as the ref now dared to throw out the hobgob for his foul! The only player from Nutz that did not play the entire match, except for the troll who missed last turn as he colapsed due to the heat, as the only out of 16 players!) .
DD could do nothing, and was lucky not to get any further damage when at last the ball was dropped and picked up by Drool Daggerhand who made the final TD to 2-0 in the second last turn and that concluded a perfect match for Nutz and a terrible one for DD, who was already getting used to being at the other end of this type of slappings!
Of course the Nutz fans loved it, whereas those of DD was much less pleased, that the team did not make a single thing happen all match long!
Also for earnings DD only obtained 30 vs 80 kgps for Nutz.
Nutz can hope to continue such luck with AV and injury, whereas DD must think a bit about practicing and reorganizing the 11 players ready for next match. first of all they must find some dice that can roll above 2!
