The season trend continued with only a modest amount of Chaos fans showing up, which meant that the elves were dominating the sidelines. On the pitch however, they were badly outnumbered, so in addition to 4 journeymen players, they had hired Hubris Rakarth for the match, as well as a Bloodwiser Babe to care for the wounded.
The weather was perfect, and the Changers of Faces kicked of in the first half. The elves used their speed and agility to score a quick TD, which meant that the Changers had plenty of time to score in the first half. However, the kick from the elves ended up on the sidelines, and when Hixxer failed to pick it up, it ended up among the fans. Luckily a Chaos fan ended up with the ball, and threw a near perfect ball to Felix the Feral who managed to get a hold of the ball. He was not adequetly protected though, and the elves managed to sack him, beginning a long struggle in which the ball changed hands several times, while slowly moving towards the Changers' endzone. During the fight, several elves were knocked out, and in the end Lorx got a hold of the ball and threw it an accurate pass to Hixxer, who was the only player in range of the Witchburg Steelers endzone. He couldn't catch it though, so Lorx had to pick it up again and try to hand it of to him. Alas even this failed, and the half ended 0-1, with only 5 elves still on the field.
During the halftime 4 of 6 elves woke up and was ready for more. Witchburg Steelers had to kick of, but this time the ball landed closer to the middle of the field, and the Changers managed to pick it up. They then drove the ball quickly down the field, managing quite a few takeouts on the way, even including some casualties. A few attempts at sacking the ballcarrier was attempted, but none succeeded. With a quarter of the match to go the Changers were on the verge of the endzone, but the Overlord decided that there were still to many elves alive to risk giving them back the ball, and they therefor dug in on the line, and passed the rest of the time, beating up elves, which is by the way a very fun activity. In the end only 4 elves remained on the pitch when the Changers ran the ball in for the equalizer. The Changers of Faces then had to kick of to the Witchburg Steelers one last time, but there were not enough time left on the clock for them to score.
