The weather was perfect for blood bowl and 20.000 fans had tuned up, most supporting the High Elves.
Cowards of Culloden won the coin toss, but deferred to Changers of Faces who was first to receive. They were not slow to return the kindness when Erg'ze badly hurt Muammar MacGaddafi in the first block of the match. Aroused by the violence Gestix tried to rush past an opponent to blitz another Elf and got tripped up. The Cowards was not able to capitulate on the error, though. Soon after Brutus the Insane smashed the hip of Isoroku MacYamamoto, but the team medic was able to patch him up. After the inital confusion, Jax picked up the ball. The elves responded to the violence when Francisco MacFranco knocked out Gestix. This did not stop the chaos advance and Jax rushed ahead, and in a desperate effort to stop the advance Walter MacModel failed a dodge. This allowed the chaos advance to continue. The elves were totally perplexed and once again one fell trying to escape the chaos onslaught. Francisco MacFranco fell and was stunned. Soon after Jax ran in for the TD. After the kick, it was the elves turn to shed some blood. Chester MacNimitz managed to knock down Fyx who broke his jaw. Sun MacTzu then picked up the ball. The chaos advanced on the ball and this forced the thrower to get rid of it in a pass to Arthur MacPercival. Gestix, who had recovered from his knock out, was out to prove his worth and blitzed the ball carier, knocking him down, and catching the lost ball. In an effort to respond the elves failed once again to dodge when Chester MacNimitz fell and smashed a hip. In the last seconds of the half Changers of Faces launched an attempt to score. Gestix rushed down the field and passed the ball to the hired journeyman who managed to catch it right in the face of an elf. He then dodged away and tried to hand it over to Erg'ze but the idiot was unable to hold on to the ball. The ball on the ground, Sun MacTzu recovered it and threw it to George MacPickett who was guarded by a beastman. He managed to catch the ball, however, and dodged out to score the equalizing TD.
In the second half the High Elves received, and before the chaos could mount a defense, they had already gotten the ball in the endzone with a quick pass from Sun MacTzu to Isoroku MacYamamoto who got it into the endzone. The chaos now had to score to tie the game, and they set about their businesses . Hixxer picked up the ball and started to drive down he field, and was met with little initial resistance. On the way Gestix badly hurt Helmuth MacMoltke. Then suddenly Francisco MacFranco managed to dodge through the chaos lines and take down Hixxer on his own, but falling down himself in the effort. Erg'ze then picked up the ball, but was soon after blitzed by Chester MacNimitz and once again the ball was loose. Brutus the Insane then cleared the way by knocking out Albert MacKesselring before Jax picked up the ball and ran it in for the TD. With only seconds left on the clock, and the weather changing to rain, Cowards of Culloden could do nothing, and the match ended 2-2.
