Pouring rain was not part of the Dino plan, as it would prove excedingly difficult to pick up the ball. Already in the first drive, a failed pick up led to the Bunnies getting hold of the ball and taking it to the endzone. 1-0.
In the second drive, Dinos managed to cage the ball, but it was wrested from them anyway. With the Bunnies within scoring range, Dinos had to use their wizard to regain control of the ball. They did not manage to take it to the endzone before the end of the first half, however.
In the second half Dinos managed to stop a decimated Bunny offence. The Bunnies then tried to stall the Dino progress, but the Dinos did manage to make the equalizer in their final turn of regulation. 1-1.
8 Dinos against 5 Bunnies at the beginning of overtime spelled troubled for the Bunnies, but then Billie Luder went on a rampage. After another failed Dino pick up, she went in and retrieved the ball. A few mutual dump-offs with Den Danske Model later and she took the ball to the endzone as time expired for the first half of overtime.
8 players against for at the beginning of the second half Dinos hoped to retaliate, but the Bunnies soon brought the ball deep into Lizard territory. Dinos did manage to get hold of the ball, but Billie Luder blitzed it back and took it to the house for a 3-1 victory for the Bunnies.
