It was game day and the swealtering heat made everyone sweat like pigs. The Hooligans had heard of Prion reputation and had brougth an extra apothecary and a mercenary minotaur to even out the odds...
The Doom boys won the toss and chose to recive the ball. They broke the Hooligans frontline and Prion charged through the gap and fell on his nose trying to blitz Oswald Flathat. The turnover gave the Hooligans a chance to reorganize and put some preassure on the ball. The Doom boys spend the rest of the first half trying to get the ball to the Hooligan EZ but Nuffle made sure that it did not happen. Towards the end of first half Oswald Flathat blitzed Prion to return the favour from the beginning of the half. Oswald Flathat did the job so well that Prion ended up badly hurt. The chaos coach knew that the team would have a hard time without the team star, so he chose to let the apothecary patch Prion up and send him to sit with the reserves.
Second half saw three Doom players out on the bench due to the swealtering heat. three other Doom players stayed KOed, so the Hooligans took the field outnumbering the chaos boys. The Hooligans made quick progress up the field, and Horst Blackhoof chose not to stall, with Prion close by. The doom boys now had more than half of the 2nd half to make a TD and this time they outnumberd the Hooligans, who had lost three players to the heat, and the three KOed chaos players had returned to the field.
Prion led the way for the chaos team, but progress was slowed by three chaos dwarfs and the mercenary minotaur. At the end of the half the Hooligan minotaur charged Prion in an attempt to stop the chaos chage advancing. The Hooligan minotaur ended up knocking both himself and Prion down, but despite Prion claws the Hooligan minotaur only ended up badly hurt, Prion ended up dead and with no apothecary left, that meant the end of his career.....
The Doom boys continued their drive after recovering from the chock of Prion death. The Hooligans sacked the only two Doom boys in scoring range, but some poor blocking moves from two chaos dwarfs made it possible for a bestman to push the ball carrier into scoring position. No name pushed himself to the limit and then some and ended up in the Hooligan EZ just before the ref blew his whistle....
