As DR was heavily favourites in this semi final, B&B had sought the help of a local conjuror of magic trick, they had also collected two bribes for the ref, and a babe. Furthermore the coach had hired a halfing master chef, who had been told that unless he made his taste buds water up he would be given to the mummies afterwards.
And then they kicked to the rats. The chefs magnificent cooking inspired the coach of B&B and inflicted serious attention problems with the rats, so he gave maximum affect. But although he also applied some brilliant coaching for the first kick-off the same was true for DR, and this helped them to let Jesus make it across the EZ line to score the first quick TD for 1-0.
And then the rats came blitzing out as they kicked the ball so deep it landed near the EZ! It could have resulted in nothing as Mars failed to mark thro-ra Finn Fumble. But with three gutter runners down pitch, the thro-ra's failed attempt to pick-up the ball was fatal for the Khemri, and Jesus had no problems dodging past him picking up the ball in the EZ behind him: 2-0 in no time. And the first bribe had already been used on a stun.
But then finally B&B was allowed to do their magic. On the LoS Benny Bandage BH Frej B and then Oswald Osiris blitzed and piled on Mars - killing him in the process. No apo for the rookie!
But once again pick-up is failed. And once again Jesus can reach it after a subsequent push. So he stands with the ball next to Finn Fumble. This time the wizard is asked to do something, but Jesus is two agile and dodges the lightning bolt. And Finn Fumble fails to get him down.
But then Lucifer Limb dodges away from diving tackle God and blitzes Jesus down stunned. A foul doesn't make it worse this time, but next turn the ball is finally acquired by B&B and Jesus is fouled BH by Finn Fumble. And now the second bribe needs to be used.
Finally the ball is moved down pitch, but only few turns are left. It helps a lot when God is SI by Benny Bandage, but the apo saves him from missing both next match and the rest of this match. When also Holy Spirit is KOed in a foul, no runners is left on pitch.
And the rats has really god the smell of good food disturbing them. Nevertheless, does Loke manage a dodge to blitz the ball carrier one dice, and take Sylvester Slubby KO. The ball ends next to Muhammad as well as the blitzing rat.
In the end the moves needed to make a TD is almost completely impossible, and when a dodge and two one dice blocks works for DR no B&B player can reach the EZ in the last seconds. But wait, a subsequent push is still possible, and it works, and Anton Anubis kills Tyr in the process. But even though the pick-up in two TZ works the long pass from these same TZ fails… 2-0 for DR at half time. And the rats can still field 11 players with a KO coming in..
But once again the cooking is so great it have the maximum affect. And the cheering fans are not cheering for DR.
It would probably have been possible for B&B to score twice in a half, especially as the pick-up works, but when Zeus KOes two mummies in subsequent turns, the rats are almost keeping up with the khemri in players on pitch. But the rats cas box is getting crowded.
Especially it hurts when Bob Boneache unaided fouls Muhammad SI injured, so he will sport a niggling injury for the rest of his, probably short, time in BB. The ref did not even see it. He did though spot Sylvester Slubby fouling Loke BH. But that was first after Benny Bandage had SI Heimdal A breaking his skull.
But all this attention to fouling etc. left a big hole in the skeletons defence, and in came Buddha blitzing - and bam - killed the ball carrier Finn Fumble. He managed to regenerate but the ball ended up on the ground. And in a last desperate attempt to score with time to tie, once again a skeleton tried to dodge away from God but this time his diving tackle worked its "magic".
Zeus then SI Nevil Noheart breaking his collar bone, but also he managed to regenerate, but now the last inspiration left over for the gastronomic steam was used by Madonna as she made a pass down pitch to God who had run there from his diving position.
The Khemri tried to inflict more pain, and succeeded when Oswald Osiris piled on Zeus, but DR's coach could breathe again when he saw it was only a BH. And then in the last second of the match God scored for 3-0 and the whistle sounded.
The rats are in the final, but with four less players and not much money to hire replacements. But maybe they can induce a better wizard or the like. They will still be able to begin with 12 payers!
