Last seasons champions where ready to defend their title when they met the rats. After exchanging TD to 1-1, the Welfs came blitzing out, and even in the rain they caught the kick-off, and when Holy Spirit never made it to the leap from failing a simple dodge, the rats could not prevent the TD fopr 2-1.
But they could have tied, had it not been for a pitch invasion that only took out the Tree Oldbirch Longleaf because he stood next to the targets from DR! Two runners and the dedicated Blitzer Muhammad, and thus only Madonna made it to scoring distance, and she was floored. In the end a long pass down pitch by Jesus and the bad weather saved the rats and it was 2-1 at half time.
But the elves received and made it 3-1 in no time, and pressed to score soon, a catch was failed by Madonna in the rain, and then it was 4-1. Finally Madonna managed to catch a ball and score for 4-2, and a bad pass from the elves almost gave the rats a chance, but it was too late, and it did not even result in a TD.
