One of the most even matches ever played in Aros, as the two Skaven teams were identically here in their first match. The match also drew the first rounds largest crowd as C49 received and in two quick turns made it 1-0.
The weather was very changeable and changed four times through the match, resulting in the last two drives being played in pouring rain.
In the second drive DR lost the ball through an inaccurate pass, but Jupiter seemed to fly above the ground, when he immediately got the ball back by intercepting a clumsy pass from Imamu, and then proceeded to tie the game 1-1.
But although the Divine made it a lot more difficult for C49, they had not problem producing another TD for 2-1. And then suddenly DR had too little time and a failed catch ended first half.
In second half it looked brighter for DR and after a quick TD for 2-2, C49 had a problem. Only one Gutter runner Bohlale were left, after Jupiter and Zeus had taken one out each. And with the rain pouring, this runner picked it up rather than the thrower.
A turn later a RR burning blitz ensured that Bohlale could reach the EZ, but first he had to dodge through opposing TZ’s 5 times and then out and two go for it, but after that the TD was in for 3-2.
With the rain teasing DR, they soon had to settle for a tie, but when in the last two turns of the match something finally failed for C49, it was easy for Holy Spirit to tie the match.
